So, our 30 Day Juicing Challenge started last night.

This challenge is a great way to introduce better eating habits to your life, it is not a cleanse or a crash/crazy diet. You can keep with your regular eating habits and add the juice at any time of the day (breakfast, snack, dinner, or just as a beverage to go with any meal).

Since I have juiced before, some of the recipes suggested on the 30 Day Challenge¬†are a little too sweet for me, and my personal objective is more than just getting back to healthy eating, I’ll be creating my own recipes and sharing with you too.

Day 1

  • Apples – 2 medium (3″ dia) 364g
  • Carrots – 3 medium 183g
  • Celery – 4 stalk, large (11″-12″ long) 256g
  • Process all ingredients in a juicer, shake or stir and serve.

Since some of the reviews said the celery taste was too strong, and a lot of people adapted the recipe, I used 3 small apples, 3 medium carrots and 3 celery stalks. The celery flavor wasn’t as strong, but it was a little bit too sweet for me. But it was delicious!!! Cheers for my Day 1!
